Day 1: Siem Reap (.../L /D)
Arrival at Siem Reap Internationl Airport, meet your East-West Travel assistant and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Visit the Paksei Chamkrong, the South Gate of Angkor Thom (Cambodia's greatest building, Jayavarman VII, built Angkor Thom also called the greate city and the royal city. An eight-meter high wall encloses this 10.4 square kilometers city, which is encircled by hundred-meter moat, said to have been inhabitated by fierce crocodiles), Bayon Temple (This temple is located in the geographical heart of Angkor Thom. The 54-tower temple is a remarkable sight), Baphoun (Angkor Thom wall's is open to public. Note the large reclining Buddha on the north side which was added to the temple as a much later period). Phimeam Akas (King's temple during the Angkorian times and once crowned with a golden tower of spire, Preah Palilay, Tep Pranam, Elephant Terrace,Terrace of the Elephants,located in Angkor Thom, next to Phimeanakas (it is adorned with elephants and Garudes), Leper King Terrace (The terrace of the Leper King, just north of the terrace of Elephants).
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat (Considered as the seven wonder of the world and covering an area of 1.6 sq kms, Angkor Wat is one of the largest temple complexes in the world), and see sunset at Phnom Bakheng (Served a temple mountain of the first city of Angkor when the capital was moved from the previous center of Rolous). Dinner with Apsara Dance Show. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 2: Siem Reap-Departure (B/ L/...)
After breakfast at the hotel visit Thommanon (Built by Surya-varman II, this small temple is still in good conditions), Chau Say Tevoda (Similar to Thommanon but in worst shape), Ta Keo (Built by Jayavarman V and was dedicated to the worship of Shiva and was the first Angkorian monument constructed entierly of sandstone), Ta Phrom (Built by Jayavarman VII as a shrine for his mother and as a monastery devoted to its upkeep.Built as a monastery it housed nearly 3,000 Priests including 18 High Priests), Pre Rup (Built by Rejendravarman(ruled 944-968) is about 1.5 km south of the Eastern Mebon), Neak Pean (This temple is located across the Northern Avenue from Tep Pranam and it is also part of a group of five 12th century Hindu and Buddhist temple enclosed by a wall), Preah Khan Temples(Buddhist temple built by King Jayavarman VII to honor his dead father is located in the town where the king routed the chams).
After lunch visit Les Artisans d'angkor (Handicraft Center supported by European Union.) until time transfer to airport for departure.
